Ray Hunt

The horse world is gearing up for a special event honoring the late Ray Hunt. Remembering Ray: A Tribute to the Legacy of a Legend will be held February 27-28 in the Watt Arena at Fort Worth’s Will Rogers Memorial Center. The event will feature horsemanship presentations by several of Ray’s proteges, including Martin Black, Buck Brannaman, Peter Campbell, Tom Curtin, Paul Dietz, Kip Fladland, Buster McLaury, Lee Smith, Ty Van Norman, and many others. A panel of horsemen will critique each presentation, and audience members will vote on which presenter best represents the horsemanship ideals of Ray Hunt. Veteran rodeo announcer Bob Tallman will emcee the event, and additional commentary will be provided by Larry Mahan, Sharon Camarillo and Pat Parelli.
